Two numbers. Everything else is unlimited.
Monthly active users — a person who asked at least one question this month — in the app, in Slack, or by email. Reading, searching and everything over MCP never counts.
Connected repositories — a repository you have connected for indexing. Connecting one over your plan never fails and never waits — it indexes immediately and schedules the plan change for your next cycle.
Applications and branches are unlimited on every plan. So are seats, readers, emails, uploads and storage. A three-hundred person company where twelve people ask questions, with three repositories, is on Team.

How the limit behaves

Nobody has to talk to us.
Annual invoicing, an MSA, a DPA and a completed security questionnaire are all self-serve. Someone can be running on Scale this afternoon without speaking to anybody. Enterprise exists as an addition to the priced plans, never as the only way through.
For organisations whose security, compliance or data-residency requirements cannot be met by a standard SaaS agreement. Same product, same two dimensions, quoted per contract and invoiced rather than charged to a card. Security review documentation is available before any procurement conversation starts. We respond within one business day.

What counts
Most of what the product does is not metered.
A question that Releap has to generate an answer for is the only thing that moves a number. Everything below is free at any volume, on every plan.
Free, always
Counted as a question
These are the operations where Releap generates something for you. They are what decides whether a person counts as a monthly active user that month — nothing else does.
Editing a generated result costs nothing. Rewrite it, cut it, restructure it, publish it — the generation was already counted. Asking Releap to generate it again is a new question.
When to move
The signal is always the same: more people asking.
Solo → Team
A second and third person start asking, and you want the answers to land in Slack rather than behind a login. You have a second and third repository. Readers are free either way — Team is the moment more than a handful of people are the ones asking.
Team → Growth
IT is in the room. They want SAML or OIDC enforced, the full audit trail readable and exportable, and generation routed through your own model endpoint. None of that needs a sales call — it is a checkbox on Growth, alongside ten repositories and seventy-five people.
Growth → Scale or BYOK
Two different pressures, two different answers. If it is breadth — thirty repositories, two hundred people, SCIM and data residency — that is Scale. If it is simply that too many people ask, BYOK puts generation on your own model keys and the number stops mattering.
